Fall Garden-Inspired Bridal Shower
Designing with flowers makes my heart sing, but throw your best friend into the mix and that’s a whole other ball game. My sweet Alessandra is getting married next April to the love of her life, Joseph. This past October, we carefully put together a moody colour palette for her bridal shower. We were inspired by autumn colours and wanted to contrast what will be a much brighter palette at her spring wedding.
Burnt orange, burgundy, eggplant purple and subtle hints of pink and blush highlighted this palette. The brown lisianthus, sweet eskimo roses and heuchera foliage stole the show.
We put together centrepieces in brassy gold compotes. For the head table, we placed a greenery garland with sliced fruit accents and grey taper candles in brass holders.
The piece de resistance was the photo wall that her fiancé, Joseph, had made special for her bridal shower. We didn’t really have a specific plan for this wall, and being quite honest, it took me a really long time to decide on the design concept. But, Alessandra trusted me and just let me do my thing – I am forever grateful for her trust in me.
Last but absolutely not least, we potted assorted succulents in brass pots for her guest favours. They were an absolute hit. We cannot wait for the wedding!
