Lush Industrial Engagement Editorial - Burroughs Building, Toronto

If you haven’t already heard, the Just (About) Married mock wedding show and market happened this past March and it was EPIC. Katie from The Event Design Co. and Ashley from The Party Girl collaborated in bringing Toronto a one-of-a-kind wedding show, featuring local talent, in which attendees were guests for this mock wedding experience.

In preparation for the “wedding day”, we collaborated with participating vendors to create an engagement editorial. Burroughs Building on Queen Street West set the scene for this industrial/chic shoot and previewed for what would eventually be the host venue for the Just (About) Married show.

We aimed for a moody, sultry look to contrast the bright, clean charm of a wedding editorial. We used complimentary purple, brown and orange tones to create a warm, yet earthy feel to the flowers. Our feature flowers: poppies, ranunculus and that gorgeous brown lisianthus made our souls sing. The models, Bronn & Matthew, depicted passion and excitement for their future together. Fox Photography captured all the emotions and details perfectly, as usual!
