Your florist should be booked after your venue has been secured. Having your venue booked will help you have a better understanding of what your floral needs will be and will help us to give you the most accurate quote. Most clients book approximately 1 year prior to their event.

Rikki Marcone takes on a limited amount of events per year to ensure each project receives the highest level of service. Only a select amount of events are booked each weekend, therefore, it is important to book early to ensure your date.

Many factors will affect your overall spend including the size of your wedding party, numbers of guests, table configurations, intricacy of your design and the flower types requested. For a simple wedding design, please allocate $75-100 per guest. For a more elaborate vision, please allocate $100-150 per guest.

We use high grade flower varieties to achieve our aesthetic. The types of flowers we use will depend on the colour palette and textures we are trying to achieve. The flower types we intend to use for your design will be outlined in your Visual Proposal. We strive to use as many Ontario grown flowers as possible during local growing season (May-October) and use imported flowers as needed. You can request specific flower types and we will do our best to accommodate. Not every flower variety is available all year.

1. Inspirational Images – These can be images of bouquets or arrangements you love. They can be individual flowers, landscapes or anything that resonates with your personal style. We want to know YOU!

2. Wedding Elements – Linen choices, stationery samples, dress images. If you’ve secured anything that would impact your overall wedding design, we want to see them! We want to ensure complete cohesion for your special day.

3. Floor Plans – At the early stages of planning, you may not have a floor plan just yet. What’s important to us is a table count and the shape of tables you’re envisioning. This will help us give you a more accurate quote.

4. Budget – This can be difficult when you have no idea what flowers cost! We’re very conscious of this. We also respect that everyone is working within a budget of some sort. Having a ballpark figure will help us to ensure our design suggestions properly align. Please see above for guidance on how much you should budget for wedding flowers.

You can see a sample of your centrepiece at an additional fee.  We encourage having a sample done if you’d like to have a visual going into your wedding/event day. While we will try our best to use the exact same flowers as your actual centrepiece, it is important to note that select flowers are not available all year. Therefore, samples should be references for size and colour only.

Yes! We are constantly adding to our rental collection. We have a selection of vases, candle holders, table numbers, pedestals and arches. Looking for something specific? We're happy to source rental items for you. We also love building custom *unique* rental pieces!
